How do MOQ and pack multiples change an order quantity?
For a nonzero request, take the larger of requested quantity and item minimum order quantity, divide by pack size, round up to a whole pack, and multiply by pack size. MOQ Check keeps a zero request at zero rather than creating an order.

Required input
Provide supplier, sku, requested_qty, pack_qty, moq, unit_cost, currency. Supplier + SKU keys must be unique. Requested quantity and MOQ are nonnegative whole base units; pack size is a positive whole number. Unit cost is nonnegative with at most two decimal places.
Interpret the report
For a synthetic request of 13 units, a 12-unit pack and a 24-unit MOQ, the suggested quantity is 24: 11 extra units. Extra cost equals those extra units multiplied by the provided unit cost.
The calculation does not model vendor-wide minimum spend, mixed cases, price breaks, freight or taxes. MOQ is expressed in base units, not cases. The result does not place an order. Use Pack Audit to compare changed supplier pack prices separately.
What if the minimum order quantity is not a full case?
Both rules still apply. In a synthetic example, requesting 13 units with an item minimum of 25 and a case pack of 12 rounds up to 36 units, not 25. That is 23 extra units; at a unit cost of 2.00, the extra cost is 46.00 in the supplied currency.
Can I combine different SKUs to reach a supplier minimum?
No. This calculator applies the minimum order quantity to each supplier/SKU separately. It does not pool different products to meet a supplier-wide minimum quantity or order value. Confirm whether your supplier’s rule is per item, per case or per whole order before entering it.
